Our Integrated Payments Product function seeks to create global products and solutions that reduces the friction that can come along with integrating payments -- helping to make payments faster, smarter, and easier for partners and customers.
Elavon is looking for an innovative Product Manager to support the creation and enhancement of our integrated payments products. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the development teams to ensure that the team clearly understands the required functionality to meet market needs. He/she will also have responsibility to keep abreast of market trends, product development, product position, and pricing philosophy, as well as recommend enhancements to product line(s) to stimulate sales and meet objectives. Additional responsibilities include:
• Creates the roadmap and strategy for a specific product or group of products;
• Collaborates with product, project, and development stakeholders and teams, gathers requirements, coordinates dependencies, and identifies risks and opportunities;
• Serves as a SME for a specific product or group of products;
• Works as the product owner with one or more Agile development teams by setting priorities and translating product inputs into well-defined functional requirements;
• Translates product strategy into requirement documents and uses cases and process flows;
• Continuously manages priorities in line with market demand and product roadmap; and
• Engages with existing clients and new prospects to help identify product needs and desires.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Eight-plus years of experience in the development of software, software as a solution, or APIs
• Work experience and/or background knowledge in Agile software development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team collaboration skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Knowledge of the integrated payments market
• Product management, design, and development skills
• Thorough knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation, and strategic analysis
• Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills
• Strong financial, competitive analysis, and computer skills
• Demonstrated management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
