SUMMARY
Provides data entry and customer service support to financial institutions, insurance agents and borrowers/members by updating information and responding to questions regarding collateral protection insurance coverage with the highest degree of accuracy, quality and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Enters updates to pertinent insurance data into the computer system in a timely manner ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to department procedures.
• Provides customer service and client support and responds to email and telephone inquiries from CPI clients regarding insurance and loan status.
• Refers complex questions, problems or client complaints promptly and accurately to the appropriate resources to ensure customer satisfaction and product integrity.
• Assists in performing time-sensitive account maintenance before and after account processing cycles to ensure insurance information has been entered accurately.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Must have at least 0 - 6 months of data entry, in-bound, out-bound or other related call center, telemarketing or related experience. Insurance or banking experience preferred.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and telephone etiquette skills.
• Must have strong workflow and communication skills (both written and oral).
• Must be able to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
• Must be able to type 40 wpm accurately and operate a 10-key calculator by touch.
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time analyzing, updating, and validating workload data using personal computer applications.
• Must be able lift and/or carry 10-20 lbs. of reports, documents, or other written materials.
