Description
The Branch Operations Manager manages operational aspects of a department(s) for the Old Plank Trail Charter’s respective branch locations.
Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for charter wide enforcement of department, bank, and corporate operating procedures, directives, regulatory compliance, and practices.
• Recommends modification of established procedures when needed.
• Provides operational support and guidance to Branch Managers when required including but not limited to Consumer CEB/Bill Pay/ Mobile Banking.
• Performs the role of Physical Security Officer for the Charter.
• Performs risk assessments and establishes/enforces security and emergency procedures.
• Local expert in identifying and reducing fraud.
• Conducts quarterly audits at each branch location for various areas of risk.
• Researches and investigates differences and/or exceptions.
• Takes corrective action as needed.
• Interfaces with corporate operational teams to support branch operations as needed. Process returned mail, Opens and Closes PMA Accounts.
• Motivates, informs, educates, and develops branch employees.
• Leads training efforts.
Manager Responsibilities:
• Resolves non-routine problems with specialized knowledge
• Demonstrates considerable judgments and has authority to act
• Budget accountability; signature authority for purchase orders, vendor contracts, etc.

• Supervises work flow of a team
• Establishes procedures and guidelines within department
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of management experience.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate the activities of a group; understands the importance of maintaining security of bank assets and complying with all department, bank, and regulatory policies.
• Is required to work weekends and evenings as dictated by operational needs/projects.
