Responsibilities
The AVP/VP will be a member of our trade support team. He/She will perform middle office trade processing functions related to the firm’s holdings and transactions for bank debt.
Responsibilies include:
• Confirming and settling bank debt trades by working with Traders, Brokers, Agent Banks, Custodian Banks, Lawyers and Accounting teams
• Update internal systems with settlement activity as required
• Provide daily reporting of bank debt activity of paydowns, interest payments, and accrual information to custodians and the back office.
• Resolve reconciliation breaks by reviewing reports, Sharepoint and emails received from Accounting, custodian banks and the Reconciliation team.
• Data entry of all bank debt related activity (including paydowns, rate resets, contract and global updates, and reorganizations) into appropriate systems.
• Assisting with other projects as necessary.
Qualifications
• 10+ years experience in trade settlements with an Investment Management firm.
• Familiarity with Bonds, Equity, Bank Loan and Derivative asset types
• Proficiency in Excel with the capability to use advanced functions to perform calculations and reconciliations;
• General computer literacy and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook;
• Outstanding analytic and organizational skills.

Education
A Bachelor's degree is required.
