SUMMARY:
Performs a wide variety of duties, including assistance to the Card Services Supervisor, in daily operational activities to provide quality service and support to all Banks and staff members, Contact Center, and customers with debit card servicing and issues resolution.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of department operations, policies, and procedures
• Develop a good understanding of Federal Banking Regulations E, D, and P
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Good understanding of operations, as well as the ability to operate office equipment such as calculators, copiers, fax machines, telephones, etc.
• Moderate to excellent computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• The ability to understand computer functions and navigate in web based programs
• The ability to work flexible hours with overtime. Saturday is a requirement in rotation
• Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Privacy of Consumer Financial Information, Rights to Financial Privacy Act, Safeguarding Customer Information, and Check Fraud; as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Receive and service customer phone calls from United Community Bank’s representatives
• Order new debit cards utilizing multiple computer programs
• Perform maintenance functions on existing debit card accounts
• Research debit card transaction approval or denial questions
• Monitor and correct, as appropriate, new card order rejects
• Review and correct debit card re-issue reports
• Log and maintain all return mail for debit cards
• Review and monitor closed account report for debit cards attached
• Review card fraud reports
• Cross train in all department functions
• Support products and applications including, but not limited to:
• Credit Card Program
• Instant Issue Debit Cards
• Email request responses internal and external
• Card Valet Support
• Mobile Wallet Support
• Perform other duties as assigned
