A top independent financial representative is looking to add to his Seattle office with an Investment & Financial Planning Associate. Position summary:
This full-time position provides securities licensed investment analysis and operational support to the financial representative and will be instrumental in coordinating and managing the daily operations of the office. This position serves as a resource to the financial representative and clients in handling, researching and communicating inquiries regarding their accounts. This includes: portfolio rebalancing, executing investment trades, account service requests, investment research and portfolio management, client documentation and other team support as needed.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• FINRA Series 7 securities registered, or willing to obtain within first year of employment
• Significant experience providing analysis with various financial planning tools and software
• Must have strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools - MS Office Suite, data-base Salesforce (or similar), fee based platforms, MoneyGuidePro (or similar) and other related software packages
• Must quickly understand the client service model (processes, next steps, follow-up) and be able to streamline and create efficiencies.
◦ Assist team in the preparation and follow-up for the member/customer meetings
◦ Complete member service and new business forms, document actions taken and ensure processing
• Assists with investment research and portfolio management
• Provides fund values and answer other securities (including variable insurance, mutual fund and annuities) product-related questions and/or questions related to investment advisory services
• Heavy transactional service work - excellent ability to communicate with our members via phone, email and in person in a professional and timely manner

• Participate in seminars, workshops, client events and volunteer opportunities
