Intern for Real Estate Investment Banking New Jersey, summer 2018.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist in evaluating properties cash flows
• Write economic and market narratives
• Obtain sale, rent and expense comparables, as well as, run market surveys
• Lease abstracts
• Assist with various ad hoc special projects
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Highly energetic individual with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be outgoing and have the ability to work with team members
• Have good written and verbal skills
• Ability to manage workflow to meet deadlines
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and creative
• Will require some field research (valid driver’s license & insurance required)
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
• Strong knowledge of PC, Windows, Internet applications, Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint a must.
• Adept to learning new programs- the position requires one to learn a variety of real estate applications
• Reis, Axiomentrics, CoStar, TREPP, ALN, Argus Enterprise
REQUIREMENT:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials
