Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our account team in California. This position will be responsible for managing the design and execution of multiple Retail Banking projects in the Los Angeles/Southern California region.
SUMMARY
This individual will lead the Project Team to develop detailed project scope, schedule and budget while managing the complex approval, execution and oversight processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support program manager and portfolio manager on a large volume of projects.
These may include any or all of the following project or program types: Express Banking installations, ADA upgrades, exterior improvements, interior renovations and refreshes.
Proactively manages project-related issues on account or assignment.
Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects. Conduct and document regularly scheduled meetings.
Where possible and appropriate, consolidate multiple projects into programs to increase efficiency of management and vendor oversight.
Coordinate and track all Vendor RFP’s. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation. Interact, negotiate with, and coordinate the activities of contractors and subcontractors
Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Client/JLL technology as required for assigned projects.
Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred. Experience in real estate, retail banking design or construction, or construction management preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Understanding of how to manage multiple projects of a similar type as a group, or program. Ability to prepare and track budgets and schedules.
Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture and space planning concepts a plus.
Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients.
Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
