Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Tax Operations Manager within US Tax Operations leading a team that supports Retail, Institutional, and/or Corporate business lines. Tax Operations is responsible for ensuring compliance with IRS Regulations related to cost basis reporting, and filing obligations across our client's Retail and Institutional based clients and legal entities. Tax Operations works closely with cross-organizational operations teams, Financial Advisors, providing in-depth client service to insure that all tax related inquiries are addressed on a timely basis. A successful candidate will have a strong experience leading operations teams and managing regulatory risks within or outside of US Tax Operations as it relates to cost basis reporting, compliance, and forms reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
• Oversee, direct, and/or supervise functions and processes within the Utah Tax Operations division
• Partner and liaison with other members of the client's Corporate Tax and Tax Operations divisions on all IRS matters impacting Tax Operations regulatory responsibilities
• Monitor and manage Tax Operational processes and risks

Qualifications
Skills required (essential)
• 5+ years team management experience in Tax Advisory, Tax Legal, Tax Operations or similar experience with US Tax Operations or related Financial Services Operations industry experience
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills - staff management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
• Experience in risk management
