Looking for an exciting opportunity with new challenges? As the Supervisor of Fee and Billing, you will have an opportunity to lead a finance operations team responsible for invoicing, collections, advisor payments and other finance functions. It’s an exciting time with lots of growth and change for OneAmerica, and this finance team especially! We are looking for an experienced leader who can manage daily operations and lead the team through transformative process changes. Your main focuses will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team to become the best associates they can be. You must be a creative problem solver, effectively manage process change, and drive productivity and efficiency.
Some of the position’s key responsibilities include:
• Leading and developing a team of associates responsible for invoicing, A/R, A/P, and advisor payments
• Mentoring, training, and developing associates for career progression, performance improvement, and recognition purposes
• Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining/implementing audit measures and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
• Creating, communicating, and maintaining/implementing quality control policies, operational expectations and standard work procedures for associates
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to improve customer satisfaction and back office operations

Requirements
As transformative efforts are underway, a driven and experienced leader is needed to position the team for growth and change. Minimum qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field OR 5+ years leadership experience
• You pride yourself on leading associates; you have direct experience managing a team and have been responsible for supporting their performance and growth
Preferred qualifications:
• You have experience working with or leading people in Finance Operations, Accounting, or Financial Reporting functions
• You have the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, and when given a deadline you know how to motivate yourself and associates and meet it
• You see value in long term thinking and large scale impact to a company. You have interest in developing a long-term career through assignments and projects across divisions and locations within the company
