Role Value Proposition:
Focused on the retirement income and structured settlements businesses, the role’s primary focus is to implement marketing initiatives to support the division’s sales goals. This is done through partnering with business counterparts along with broader US and global marketing teams. The candidate will work as part of a team whose objectives are to develop product positioning, marketing campaigns, assets along with the associated measurement plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Focused on the retirement income and structured settlements businesses, the role’s primary focus is to implement marketing initiatives to support the division’s sales goals. This is done through partnering with business counterparts along with broader US and global marketing teams. The candidate will work as part of a team whose objectives are to develop product positioning, marketing campaigns, assets along with the associated measurement plans.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• Implement marketing campaigns designed to drive new business value
• Develop print and digital assets to be aligned with media plan
• Develop lead generation campaigns targeted at multiple audiences
• Partner with research team in learning plan and develop campaigns aligned with insights
• Participate in the marketing planning and ongoing monitoring
• Participate in value proposition work and activation plan
• Provides direction to marketing vendors and creative agencies
• Manages campaign management and execution for respective line of business
• Partner with analytics area to build measurable plans and makes recommendation for scaling or course corrections
• Participates in the evolution of the brand promise and positioning and apply them to the RIS business
• Partners across the enterprise to make use of best practices
Required:
• 4-7 years relevant marketing experience that is inclusive of go to market strategy development to execution to measurement
• Must be able to work cross-functionally across the enterprise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of how to translate business goals into marketing priorities
• Ability to advise, influence, manage and lead cross functional teams
• Ability to translate research insights into action
• Eagerness to learn and continuously improve
• Ability to balance multiple priorities
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; MBA preferred
• Has consistent values with Metlife culture that include collaboration, trust and customer first
