About the role
The Sourcing Manager both plans and leads global corporate real estate services categories, developing and delivering global category strategies as well as the role of sourcing partner for the Americas, delivering significant local projects and supporting CRES in managing supplier relationships.
• Responsible for supporting the bottom-up aggregation of all Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense data across divisions and countries.
• Responsible for the delivery of specific significant local projects in the Americas, across the CRES area, supported by the broader CRES Sourcing team.
• Performing the role of CRES business partner for the Americas, ensuring CRES and wider Swiss Re business objectives are understood and met.
• Accountable for delivering annual Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense financial targets
• Responsible for consolidating, sharing and effective collaboration of Vendor, market, category and internal business data and information to develop the Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense strategy
• Responsible for monitoring vendor compliance and enforcing Sourcing policies and procedures
• Accountable for implementation and communication of the final Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense Strategy and Annual Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense Plans to relevant business partners
• Accountable for execution and application of vendor management and vendor governance in the Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense, aligned to the Vendor Relationship and Management Framework
• Accountable for the creation, application, completion and review of major contracts for the Hard FM and Logistics Admin Expense.

About You
Education:
Bachelor’s degree ideally required at a minimum; in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field. Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification
Experience:
Ideally, you will have more than five (5) years of Sourcing/Procurement experience in the insurance or financial services industry. You will show skill and experience in executing on pragmatic solutions in collaboration with the business to advance business priorities. You will be required to communicate and collaborate effectively with business partners and external suppliers. You should demonstrate behaviours consistent with Swiss Re's leadership imperatives with a focus on driving sustainable performance and continuous improvement.
