Job Description
The Authorization Improvement Program (AIP) is a Global Corporate Initiative aimed at driving additional value to client’s payments programs through improving the authorization approval performance. In addition to proactive client’s engagement through the CSS account management organization, clients can also self-remedy their authorization performance through various self-service facilities available on Visa’s client resources. AIP program manager role will curate the AIP center of excellence, which includes:
• Own, manage and maintain the audit function for the AIP program
• Develop and manage turn-key client ready content for the AIPI (Case studies, Best practices, Vol content, Tools and References, White Papers etc), catalogue examples, engage internal resources (CSS/Product/ Risk/VPS/I&SP) to source required materials, approach resources internal or external to execute required analyses
• Manage the reporting needs for the AIP including interfaces with various CRM tools that rely on the Auth initiative data. Make suitable adjustments where and when required
• Develop and manage the internal AIP playbook resource for client facing teams, develop a world-class self-service resource that enables both seasoned AM's and newcomers. Ensure resources and content are up to date with the latest information
• Manage the development of client training content including self-help short videos, multiple day Visa Business School courses, webinars, SME WebEx's
• Execute and manage the internal and external communication strategy for the AIP program. Communication strategy will include internal CSS broadcasts, updates on L&D content to update the AM community on the latest. Document and distribute outcomes and actions from AIP Governance meetings
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree, Graduate School/MBA preferred
• Min 7-10 years of increasingly responsible experience in business analysis, finance or a statistics environment
• Visa experience or in-depth knowledge of the bankcard industry (including payment processing, operations, product management or risk management) is highly desired
• Has depth of knowledge required to perform complex responsibilities, draw logical conclusions, make recommendations, facilitate solutions and deliver reliable results with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to synthesize complex analysis and communicate results and recommendations concisely and effectively to stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated leadership skills with emphasis on consensus building, diplomacy, cooperative
negotiation and persuasion are required to build cross functional commitment to delivering intended results
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global environment
• Proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) with a preference for someone with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
• Proficient with business analysis (OLAP) tools, preferably Tableau and/or Microstrategy. preferred
• Some travel may be required, but not expected to exceed more than 10%
