ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of caller, and email to appropriate personnel.
• Take messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
• Provide routine information as appropriate such as: answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
• Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
• Daily mail distribution for department.
• File Executive copies of newspapers daily
• Bind and inter-office research monthly reports.
• Order supplies weekly for department
• Pick lunch choices daily, fax in order to restaurants, pick up lunches from 1st floor and pass lunches out to personnel.
• Provide backup for research assistants by performing the following: type correspondence, drafts, etc. from transcriptions, printouts, memos and various forms.
• Bind marketing material as needed by assistants
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in investment banking or capital markets and writing or editing a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail and the Internet. Ability to learn and use industry specific software as required.
REQUIRED TESTING
Microsoft Word, Excel and Typing
