The Business Analyst role is an exciting opportunity to join JLL’s Corporate Solutions business, supporting a technology services client in Palo Alto, CA, as a member of a team that has responsibility for managing the client’s $1 Billion annual capital plan. The analyst’s responsibilities will include managing critical data, developing governance and control metrics, and developing the tactical and predictive analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Track data quality on key business elements, implement tracking and control plans. Track key performance indicators, implement tracking and control plans.
• Report on key performance metrics and trends, providing meaningful commentary and business recommendations.
• Implement a reporting dashboard that captures all key data elements.
• Create standard monthly reports and dashboards.Work cross functionally to support capital expenditure reporting and forecasting.
• Ability to independently gather data, interpret and perform research and analysis in support of inquiries.
• Prepare detail variance analysis (actual results compared to Plan/Forecast).Assist with ad hoc analysis, data loads/updates and reporting.
• Create presentations/reports for internal and external stakeholders.Act as a liaison between Capital Planning, Finance and Business Intelligence to gather information, resolve and recommend solutions to problems, issues, and concerns and research/answer questions.
• Study trends to get in front of potential issues.Manage monthly project migration process.Manage the administration of the Capital Planning Tool (data loads, user security, etc.).
• Ability to use independent judgment, make decisions, and possess strong analytical skills.Self-motivated, open-minded, curious and flexible.
• Role Requirements:Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum three (3) years of experience in planning, forecasting and analysis required.PC Windows-based software experience required with advanced knowledge in Excel.SQL, relational database and Access experience helpful. #LI
