Position Purpose:
We are looking for a Market Manager to join our Fiserv Biller Solutions team. This role will establish and develop expected level of sales through the education, development, and proactive management of clients and prospective clients.
About our Business:
Fiserv’s Biller Solutions division offers a portfolio of industry-leading billing and payments products including bill presentment and payment, eBill distribution, and Walk-In payments. These products are used by thousands of financial institutions and direct billers, including most of the top institutions in the country. BillMatrix allows for Billers to collect electronic payments via IVR, Web, and CSR; e-Bill Distribution allows Billers to ‘publish’ electronic bills to Fiserv-hosted Banking front ends/customers; and CheckFreePay provides Billers with the largest bill payment walk-in network in the U.S.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the achievement of CheckFreePay’s agent growth plan strategy through the signing, activating, training of new retail agents for CheckFreePay's authorized and universal walk-in bill pay businesses, and to grow the business by continuously cultivating the new & existing agents.
• Signs, Activates and Trains new retail agent locations in assigned key cities, towns and zip code areas based on the company’s business and budget needs.
• Manages and cultivate the assigned agent network to increase same store sales and reduce agent attrition.
• Analyzes company and market data to reinforce or correct market and/or agency performance trends & capitalize on Market opportunities
• Routine sales calls on agent decision-makers, which is based on the size and potential of agent’s business, to create leveraged relationships
• Ensures Marketing plans are executed at retail and develops self / agent conceived plans to support transaction growth
• Supports all related departments at Headquarters to ensure that agents comply with policies and procedures in service, accounting, banking, compliance, etc.
• Secures category & competitive market information in a timely fashion (i.e. Biller availability, features/functionality, competitive pricing, etc.).
• Ensures all company property is used in a reasonable & professional manner, ensuring all maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Responsible for the successful achievement of quarterly quota as determined by management and based on geographic region.
Requirements for the Position
• 4-year college degree or comparable business experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
• Travel requirement – 60%.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• In-person presentation skills.
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.
• Must have own reliable transportation, valid drivers' license, auto insurance, and good driving record.
• Route sales, cold calling, and/or experience in retail distribution a plus.
• Ability to travel both within existing assigned territory as well as to other regions / territories as may be required.
