Responsibilities
The Assistant Vice President/Vice President will be the Controller for a Real Estate Fund that will have SEC filing requirements.
Responsibilities include:
• Accountability for filing all routine quarterly and annual statements and filings, as well as other interim filings, as situationally required by the SEC. This includes, but is not limited to, all face statements, disclosure notes and required schedules (e.g. 10-K, 10-Q).
• Coordinating and delivering of all other important reports or support for additional items. This includes, but not limited to earnings statements, MD&A, investor presentations, proformas, etc.
• Managerial review of other Real Estate Funds, with similar investment guidelines, but without any SEC filing requirements.
• Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations and reporting requirements, and proficiency with researching accounting literature.
Qualifications
• At least 10 years working in the investment management industry, preferably within a Real Estate strategy.
• At least 5 years experience with SEC reporting.
• CPA Preferred
