Position Summary
Job Description:
• Directs the work of professional Industrial Hygienists and Environmental Health Consultants completing or overseeing a variety of investigative, inspection, and consultative assignments to prevent occupational diseases and protect and improve the industrial health and work environment of the labor force.
• The incumbent works within general methods and procedures, and exercises considerable independent judgment to select the proper course of action.
• Requires knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of specific industrial hygiene programs, and supervisory techniques, personnel policies, and procedures.
• Manages the work output of others.
Additional Considerations:
• Must be able to pass a medical exam for use of a respirator.
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Detail oriented. Experience working with and knowledge of Environmental Safety & Health standards and regulations.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills including; Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to pass a medical clearance physical to wear a respirator.
• CIH or CSP designation required.
Desired:
• Master's Degree in Industrial Hygiene.

• Demonstrated ability to work as a solid contributor in a team environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking and changing direction depending on work load.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
