The Employee Benefits Sales Director will be a key member of the Fidelity Health Group’s sales and service organization, reporting directly to the Vice President, Sales. The Employee Benefits Sales Director will be responsible for selling Fidelity’s benefits marketplace solution to clients primarily via web meetings.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of successful B-to-B sales experience
• Experience selling employee benefits to small- and mid-sized companies
• Valid Health and Life insurance license
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Your deep understanding of group health insurance and other employee benefits insurance products
• Your understanding of health/ancillary benefits market trends
The Skills You Bring
• Your expertise managing and executing a highly sophisticated, multi decision maker sales process in the employee benefits market
• Your strong technical aptitude, especially virtual presentation skills facilitating web-based meetings
• Your ability to nurture leads into qualified prospects, and then develop qualified prospects into new sales
• Partner with internal business partners to present Fidelity Health Marketplace’s capabilities
• Deliver and apply consistent sales process to effectively develop territory.
• Your demonstrated experience in leading employee benefits sales presentations with prospective clients
• A solid understanding of information technology used to provide employee benefits solutions (experience/understanding of private exchanges/marketplace solutions preferable)
• Your ability to define objectives and produce deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Your ability to consistently meet high performance standards including timely completion of tasks, project management, field sales support, and customer interaction
• Demonstrated territory, sales and time management skills
• Demonstrated presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Value You Deliver
• Marketing and selling FHM’s benefits platform to both new and existing Fidelity clients
• Identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients
• Demonstrating Fidelity’s Health Marketplace solution to prospective clients via web-based meetings
• Staying up-to-date on employee benefits rules and regulations
• Working with the implementation team to ensure a smooth onboarding and post-enrollment process for clients
