We are looking for a Compliance – Analytics Manager FTE – Associate Directorfor our NYC office.
The SS&C Compliance team is a newly launched division within the greater SS&C GlobeOp organization. The Compliance Team specializes in providing fund compliance services for asset/fund managers, across a variety of leveraged loan funds such as CLOs and Separately Managed Accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize macro and micro level CLO product experience to help set and drive business strategies to scale SS&C’s Compliance Services platform capabilities and overall CLO/Loans business
• Help raise, facilitate, and communicate business and product specific requirements (specific to CLO and investment guideline mechanics) to in-house technology teams and senior stakeholders
• Manage and monitor projects, on production matters, enhancements, and ongoing improvements to system and processes.Including development related to the continued build out and enhancement of our platform’s capabilities and services.
• Oversee and perform quality control and regression testing prior to compliance system functionality upgrades and enhancements.
• Liaise across interdepartmental teams on projects and deliverables related to the continued build out of Compliance team servicing platform.
Skills/Requirements
• Bachelors degree in business/finance or related discipline, MBA a plus
• Experienced in working with cross functional teams at a project level at either CLO asset manager shop, trustee or custodian, or financial services firm.
• 10 years minimum of CLO industry experience. Familiarity with full CLO lifecycle from warehouse to redemption, CLO mechanics, experience in reading and interpreting investment guidelines and compliance rules from CLO indentures and IMA’s. Some experience preferred in fund administration and reporting for SMA/ERISA/40ACT funds.
• Can articulate business and industry requirements, and then translate and document into technical terms for IT focused teams (both verbal and written).
• Experience with syndicated leveraged loan asset class
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - this position will interface directly with senior management, other departmental heads and external clients on a day to day basis.
• Ideal candidate from a peer firm, trustee shop or CLO manager
