Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager Opportunity Overview
As a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Managerwith Banner Bank you will develop and manage a portfolio of high performing commercial real estate relationships consisting of interim construction and mini-perm loans to long-term, professional developers. These loans shall include acquisition, acquisition and development and construction financing of residential housing and the various income property uses including apartments, retail, office and industrial. Relationship emphasis shall be targeted towards Best-In-Class development companies. However, portfolios will consist of a mix of small to larger sized builders.
As a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Managerwith Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:
• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing small to mid-size real estate relationships
• Ongoing Credit Risk Management through routine monitoring of the loan portfolio
• Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on borrowing requests
• Negotiate loan terms and conditions within scope of authority
• Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Ensure proper risk rating of portfolio at all times
• Create awareness of the bank and its services through community activity
Travel: Overnight travel as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent experience required
Experience
• Seven years of experience in commercial real estate and business development required
Preferred Skills
• Ability to develop and manage larger and more sophisticated (Best-In-Class) commercial or homebuilder real estate relationships
• Strong credit, financial and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of the local real estate markets
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to underwrite and structure commercial real estate credits
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial real estate lending and appraisal guidelines
