Job Description
• Build and maintain partnerships with the marketing team and serve as a key point of contact for all finance issues.
• Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of regional/ some global marketing function.
• Partner with business to prepare and understand periodic forecasts for Income Statement. Ensures forecast appropriately reflects current trends & known discrete items.
• Partner with Functional and Regional finance teams to understand and prepare commentary regarding variances, business drivers and influence forecasting assumptions.
• Preparation of the annual business plan.
• Actively seek opportunities to introduce new tools and improve analysis.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end deliverables and requirements in accordance with deadlines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• At least 7 years experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
• Ability to effectively work independently, as well as part of a larger team
• Highly motivated team member who easily cultivates effectively relationships both inside and outside the Finance organization
• Ability to recognize and resolve issues, knowing when to escalate and ask for help
• Ability to appropriately facilitate a drive for action
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Experience proving analytical and some business case analysis support to non-financial management, as well as budgeting variance commentaries
• Solid experience in a large, multi-national environment
• Demonstrate expertise in MS Office
• Experience with a complex financial system (Hyperion) is preferred.
• Understanding of performance measurement and reporting techniques
• A critical aspect of this role is demonstrating experience and skill in being a great partner and providing top quality customer service.
