Description
The Product Management Director for Fraud and Identity will provide leadership and focus in defining, launching and managing products and propositions to achieve our business goals. They will have responsibility for one or more products and propositions and the complete product lifecycle. This includes market requirements, commercial justification, development, go to market, and revenue achievement for their responsibilities in the Experian North America market. They will successfully manage and develop several direct reports.
This individual will be recognized and trusted as a product and industry expert by Experian’s consultants, sales and delivery personnel. This role may include both inbound and outbound activities and will require him/her to work closely with the DA Global Product Management team to ensure market requirements are incorporated in product roadmaps and go-to-market materials.
Overview: Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients, partners, and other Fraud & Identity Solutions teams including Global Product Management, Technology, Sales, Sales Engineering, Implementation, and others in order to drive product propositions through the full lifecycle of product development and launch. Steps include but are not limited to: Market Problems; Market Definition; Win/Loss Analysis; Distinctive Competence; Distribution Strategy; and more.
Skills and Qualifications
• Industry Knowledge:
◦ Advanced knowledge of product management fundamentals and go to market processes for B2B software.
◦ Minimum of 5 years’ experience from one of the following areas preferred: fraud prevention and risk management, B2B fraud prevention technology services, financial services, online retail and e-commerce, and/or other similar fields
◦ Payments, credit or fraud risk policy, data management and analytics experience a plus.
• Product Lifecycle Management:
◦ Excellent understanding of software product development processes
◦ 5 or more years of experience in product management of software or technical products preferred
◦ Experience with agile product development and software-as-a-service are a plus.
• Commercial Discipline: Proven track record successfully managing products to meet aggressive growth targets; ability to develop and manage product pricing strategies.
• Strategy: proven skills to develop, communicate and execute successful product strategies and initiatives.
• Product Marketing: author and contribute to product collateral; collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product marketing plans and initiatives are successfully executed; if needed, ability to effectively play a senior role in sales activities (e.g. present the products, answer questions, and discuss product roadmap
• Leadership: 2 or more years leading small, high performing teams; clear ability to successfully collaborate with and influence senior executives across the business.
Responsibilities
• Accountable for longer-term shadow P&L performance and strategy for one or more specific products with significant annual revenues
• Product-level execution
• Identifies market problems
• Reviews and approves product backlogs
• Sets product-level priorities
• Interfaces with development and architecture teams as needed
• Interfaces with other functional groups as needed to execute product plans (marketing, finance/accounting, training, etc.)
• May manage one or more product managers or product analysts (team of up to 5 people)
• Represents product in all senior level interactions internally and externally

EDUCATION
• Required: Bachelor's Degree, ideally in role-relevant field.. MBA is a plus.
• Desired: Pragmatic Marketing or similar product management certification.
