As a member of Ipreo’s Business Development & Corporate Strategy team, you will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director of Business Development & Corporate Strategy and Business Unit leadership on key initiatives critical to the growth of Ipreo. Overall, the role will require you to manage projects and processes, develop presentations that articulate findings and recommendations, and build strong relationships across Ipreo. In addition, you will participate in strategic and financial analyses and help to develop actionable recommendations.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Support and drive on-going strategies that lead to a compelling portfolio of growth opportunities for Ipreo.
• Collaborate with the Business Units (BU) to formulate and advance on-going strategy and planning efforts; translate strategies into targeted actions and programs that result in growth.
• Identify and drive key critical initiatives at the Ipreo and BU levels which support growth (e.g., business building, product management, pricing and operations), including, potentially, acquisition and partnership opportunities.
• Work with internal partners to identify, organize, assess and prioritize new ideas for strategic partnership / investments.
• Build and maintain broad-based relationships with business unit and corporate senior management to facilitate execution success; begin to extend relationships to industry and professional networks as needed.
• Lead and deliver other key analysis and projects as requested.
Requirements
Ideal Experience:
• Strategy consulting work experience in an intense work environment ideally gained in leadership positions with increasing responsibility within a consulting firm or financial services firm.
• Experience and interest in the financial services sector; outsourced platform/services subsector exposure is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced setting; enthusiastic about the potential strategic options facing Ipreo.
• Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries, developing strong organizational relationships, and leading through influence are keys to success.
• Excellent academic background; undergraduate degree coupled with graduate degree in business from a top-ranked university.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Education Level: MBA or comparable industry experience
• Minimum Years of Experience: 4 years work experience
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of complex data into meaningful conclusions
• Ability to structure documents (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, Memorandums) and quantitative analyses (i.e., basic Excel models)
• Strong, proven end-to-end project management capabilities
• Strong written, oral, and presentation-based communication skills
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to thrive in a project-based environment with a closely intertwined team
• Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influence skills
• Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including basic financial modeling capabilities
• Ability to understand financial and valuation analysis
