Performs complex research and analysis under Regulatory instructions to correctly identify, categorize and calculate capital requirement for different financial instruments. Provide analytical/technical support and advice on final result reports prepared for internal management as well as external third parties. Works closely with internal and external audit teams to comply with their requirements and close any issue identified. Prepare and maintain any documentation related to procedures or presentation prepared and provided on quarterly, semiannual or annual basis. In order to successfully perform the above mentioned tasks the candidate should have a general knowledge of financial market, financial instruments and an understanding of Basel and Volcker regulations.
Qualifications
BA/BS with accounting concentration. Knowledge of GAAP. The position requires knowledge of advanced accounting and finance concepts and analysis techniques, and the ability to apply them creatively to the most complex projects. Typical training includes an MBA or CPA. 4+ years related experience. In addition to the previous level, this position requires the ability to provide supervisory direction and technical guidance to other analysts. Developed skills in communicating complex financial data in written and oral form, the ability to design sophisticated analytical/computer methodologies, and to work in an unstructured environment are important. Preferred Qualifications: -The candidate should be proficient in Excel, should be able to read macros and create complex formulas. -Strong knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office software -Knowledge and/or Expertise using Intex and Bloomberg is a plus
