The Senior Director of Employee Communications creates, drives, and executes employee communications and engagement strategies for the assigned business functions at Equifax.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a strategic advisor to business leaders, the Senior Director:
• Identifies and creates communications that immerse employees in the Equifax Workforce Solutions mission and vision, as well as business goals and growth plans to ensure they have a full understanding of their roles in the success of the company.
• Writes compelling communications that inspire employees to become active brand ambassadors who help spread the word about Equifax values, innovation, and financial successes.
• Establishes a cadence of communications and is responsible for orchestrating the overall strategy and plan to inspire employees.
• Serves in a leadership capacity within their business, partnering with programs and initiatives that will enhance the employee experience and improve the company's external profile.
• Creates tools, systems, and processes that enable employees across the business to access accurate and compelling stories and information they can use to tell the Equifax Workforce Solutions story to internal and external audiences.
• Builds and maintains constructive partnerships with clients and colleagues and advises them on internal communication initiatives.
• Anticipates future needs and take projects from ideation to deployment.
• Role develops and deploys impactful communication and programs across all locations around the world.
• Serves as the business unit advocate and liaison with enterprise internal communications in order to ensure enterprise priorities are communicated within the business unit, and that business unit priorities are communicated across the enterprise.
• Actively participate at business unit leadership meetings.
FOCUS AREAS:
Primary areas of responsibility include leading the creation and implementation of communication pieces to support:
• Business leaders and executives, with deliverables including but not limited to electronic/print communications, website content updates, videos, webcast updates, town hall meetings, management and coordination of site visits, and quarterly reports.
• Business Initiatives including but not limited to growth initiative communications, intranet content, messages from senior leadership team members, employee recognition, and HR-related communications.
• Employee Engagement including but not limited to creating/implementing strategy using Employee Engagement Survey data, developing channels and materials that engage and immerse employees in strategic COE efforts, and new-employee recognitions.
• Web Content Management including but not limited to overseeing updates to the intranet site with fresh content, developing and implementing a plan that elevates the intranet as the go-to site for all employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Established track record in the field of corporate communications; excellent corporate writing background required
• Technical competencies include MS Office expertise, Adobe Acrobat, and internet navigation skills; Poppulo a plus
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral
• Demonstrated ability to manage internal client relationships, including executive level, in mid- to large-size organizations, preferably a public and/or global company
• Proven ability to build consensus among diverse leaders and manage sensitive situations discreetly
• Executive presence

• Ability to work quickly and effectively; strong organizational skills
• Effective time management; ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• Proven background in leading employee programs and events that achieve results
• Effective working in a matrixed, cross-functional organization
• Experience in other functions within corporate communications (i.e., media relations, public affairs, digital/social media) a plus
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, degree in English preferred, or overall Communications or Language Arts degree
• 7-10 years related experience
