As a Director of Internal Consulting, you will be part of a high-profile, agile team of internal consultants. You will be deployed to implement solutions in hot spots and mission-critical areas of our business, and challenged with focusing on excellence in execution while staying true to the conceptualization of the initiative. This will be achieved through the following areas:
Business Planning & Strategy:
• Oversee and deliver quality engagements with specialized expertise as a developer, advisor, and reviewer.
• Accelerate value realization by aligning technology deployment and engagement plans with organizational objectives
• Develop improvement strategies from a wide array of proven methodologies such as six sigma and pragmatic marketing
Building Organizational Capability:
• Stabilize developed infrastructure solutions using different methodologies that align with Fiserv’s vision and core values
• Accountable for the design, coordination, implementation and execution of key projects that support strategic initiatives across the Fiserv enterprise
• Function as a trusted advisor to internal business groups
Operations:
• Understand relevant application development, infrastructure and operational implications of engagements
• Lead large scale project engagements in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Client-Facing Initiatives:
• Partner with stakeholders to develop, refine, and launch engagement/project plans
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of organizational design and operations to leverage large scale transitions with Fiserv clients

Thought Leadership:
• Lead execution of clearly defined components within a process stream, which could span process improvement, organizational change, and / or functional strategy efforts
• Develop engagement/project-specific ideas that actively and quickly identify gaps in existing processes.
• Gather, model, and analyze data to identify trends and industry insights
• Present findings to key stakeholders and leverage expertise to a realize an action plan
Client Leadership:
• Prepares and listens well; interjects and participates in client meetings to gather baseline information and can work with client team to retool/execute any additional requests
• Establish excellent relationships with internal clients and colleagues
Team Leadership;
• Manages deadlines / timeframes, proactively escalating issues as needed
• Receptive to ongoing feedback via senior leadership, internal business partners, and peers
• Team player, works well with Engagement/Project analysts / associates and other applicable resources
Position Qualifications
Travel Required: 75%
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• 7 or more years of experience consulting in a business-to-business environment, with proven focus on strategic planning, operational improvements, and building organizational capability
• Curious, Engaged, Determined and Insightful
• Prefer core specialty of Product Management, Technology, Business Development, or Finance
• Proven track record of identifying, developing and driving impactful partnerships across large enterprises
• Demonstrated experience transforming businesses
• Strong presentation, written, and collaborative skills to build and maintain proactive involvement with all levels within the organization
• Ability to plan, prioritize, adapt to change, and provide appropriate follow-through to effectively drive business results
• Strong financial and business acumen required to quantify and communicate results
• A history of exceeding expectations
• Experience working in a diverse, matrixed organization
• Strategic business planning and execution
• Effective resource management skills
• Strength in knowledge management and financial management
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing growth organizations
