Position Overview
DB Global Technology Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to work with production support team to resolve production issues. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of experience designing, developing and supporting Java based financial applications; handling the design and development of database components, including the creation of tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers; handling object oriented design, java messaging infrastructure, and multi-threading; handling the building, deployment and debugging of applications, including the identification of problems in the applications, isolating the sources of problems, correcting the problems and testing the corrections; creating, reviewing and executing test cases using JUNIT Test framework; working on risk management applications to generate client financial reports. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience performing Java implementation and production support; collecting and analyzing business requirements, including gathering new business requirements from users and converting them into technical specifications; and utilizing tools, including AGILE, MVC Framework, SPRING, Design Pattern, JAVA, Rest Web Services and Jenkins (Continuous Integration Framework). Employer will accept one (1) year of undergraduate studies, plus three (3) years of relevant work experience, to satisfy the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
