Vice President, Market Product Management, Digital Payments - North America
Overview
The VP, Market Product Management will play a critical role in the development, integration, and execution of Digital Payments strategies and plans. This includes defining and developing the strategic framework, project plans, business constructs, and models for successfully commercialize products in the digital payments ecosystem. We are looking for an excellent communicator, go-getter who can execute and manage a high-performing team. He/She will need to work with key executives to socialize and communicate our commercialization strategy then turn-around and flawlessly execute it.
Role
• Define the commercialization strategy for North America (NAM) Digital Payments products (Masterpass and MDES)
• Determine how existing products and platforms (Masterpass, MDES, etc) can advance Mastercard’s position in the emerging payments arena via partner engagement
• Work with a cross-functional team to successfully deploy NAM DP products in market
• Provide thought leadership and lead projects to develop and enhance the Digital Payments strategies
• Participate in creating opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts
• Support development of execution plans and metric-based goals and objectives
• Be a team leader and manage a high-performing team

• Analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and provide recommendations effectively.
• Ability to develop strategic points of view and to facilitate or lead discussions and debate
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
• Strong understanding of digital trends and payment and how they can be leveraged to meet customer and business needs
• Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
