Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The team Vice President within High Net worth Lending Operations is responsible for day to day supervisory oversight of production staff as well as providing operational support for Loan operations service requests.
The Vice President is part of a team of analysts, associates and specialists with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
• Review Supervisory risk reports
• Oversee various testing initiatives and projects
• Updating, providing and maintaining departmental metrics
• Overseeing and management of periodic updates to policies and procedures
• Liaising with senior management and product stakeholders as necessary
• Escalation of issues to management
• Work closely with stakeholders in technology and the business on production initiatives
• Loan review and approvals
• Manage day to day staffing needs
• Review / Approve hours
• Assist in tracking staff vacation schedules
• Assist in handling Branch and field related escalations
• Assisting in interviewing potential candidates (both Temp and FTE)
• Assisting in training of newly on boarded employees
• Work closely with both internal and external auditors on managing audits
• Work closely with internal Operational Risk team to develop robust operational control framework
