Job Summary & Responsibilities
Duties: Associate-Intermediate/Vice President with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, NY. Leverage in-depth knowledge of Basel III regulatory capital rules and calculations to facilitate the explanation of changes in the Firm’s credit risk exposures and capital requirements to internal stakeholders. Work with the Firm’s Technology division to implement changes and enhancements to capital calculations. Develop and implement credit exposure and capital calculations required by new regulations. Conceive and lead ad-hoc regulatory reporting processes necessary for Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS).
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering, plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
Must have three (3) years of experience with Basel III Advanced Capital rules. Must have experience with: interpreting and applying new proposed regulations pertaining to credit risk; credit risk concepts including, Probability of Default, Loss Given Default, Exposure at Default and CVA; utilizing technical reporting and data visualization tools, such as Tableau; and counterparty credit risk exposure models and application of credit risk mitigation, such as netting, collateral.
