BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
The Human Capital Management (HCM) Division comprises of centrally and divisionally aligned teams who specialise in addressing the needs of particular client groups.
HCM is made up several of departments such as Employee Relations who act as the internal consulting group to all levels of employees and management; Leadership and Diversity who help drive the firms commitment to attracting and retaining the best and most diverse talent at all levels; Finance who assist in the operation of the division; Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University who are committed to helping our people develop; Recruiting; Reward; Talent Assessment Group who manages the planning, development and talent management processes; Strategy and Management which provides HCM related services and counsel for HCM.
This person will provide HCM delivery and advice to the EMEA Securities team, in particular in relation to offer management matters relating to new hires to the firm. In addition, this person will get involved in cross-Revenue EMEA projects and global Securities HCM initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Point of contact for Securities EMEA covering an organization of 1400+ people
• Partner with senior divisional stakeholders and recruiting committees to understand talent needs and work with recruiting to deliver on strategies/solutions for recruitment
• Build relationships with Securities managers to advise on hiring considerations such as level, compensation and other relevant matters to be considered for a new hire.
• Provide support and advice relating to the structuring and management of offers to new hires within the Securities division. Manage the communication flow between managers, candidates and stakeholders pertaining to offer structuring.
• Partner with senior divisional management, business heads and Franchise Managers to deliver and drive projects and strategy to deliver their needs and areas of focus
• Deliver talent management processes, including mobility, performance reviews, promotions, quartiling, compensation
• Reporting and Analytics – effectively utilise HCM and business data to enhance and deliver effective HCM solutions
• Partner with other HCM groups to manage day to day HCM needs and ensure service excellence to clients
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Proven track record in HR role or Securities familiarity
• High level of skill on all Microsoft applications
