Position Overview
As a Director or Managing Director within PNC's Capital Markets organization, you will be in Fixed Income Corporate Sales (Investment Grade Credit Sales) and based in New York.
Job Profile
• As a Capital Markets Director - Sales or Capital Markets Managing Director I - Sales, this role will drive sales activities for a specific product(s) or transaction(s), manage and develop client relationships and provide a superior client experience. Dependent on the role placed into, may also be responsible for a team that drives sales activities for a specific product or transaction. May also be responsible for ensuring compliance with risk & regulatory requirements and assisting Senior Leadership with the strategic planning for the group.
• Works closely with relationship managers, investment bankers, traders and other internal service partners to develop, market and deliver capital markets solutions to our clients. Dependent on the role, may be responsible for delivering more complex capital markets solutions to our clients.
• Provides appropriate solutions based on in-depth assessment of client objectives and market conditions. Develops and maintains client and/or investor relationships. May allocate client coverage to optimize alignment.
• Coordinates the execution of key sales and marketing strategies, such as product structuring, product distribution and cross-sell to maximize sales and develop new business activity. May also coordinate the execution of sales and marketing strategies to support new product development.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry and market developments, deal flow and regulatory requirements. Maintains compliance with policies and regulations. Provides coaching (and possibly leadership) to other team members (and the line of business) depending on the role.

Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.
