Executive Office Compliance supports our Executive Office businesses, which include the Office of Corporate Engagement, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations and Brand Marketing.
You will be part of a team with members from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, such as law, banking, technology and media. We are looking for a professional with sound judgment, curiosity and ability to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape, who wants to use their experience to provide world class advisory and compliance guidance to our Executive Office businesses.
Required Skills:
• Prior experience working closely with the technology organization and contributing to standard system implementations
• Detailed understanding of internal controls design, implementation and testing
• Demonstrated project management experience with proven ability to build rapport with stakeholders and appropriately exercise judgment in a collaborative, consensus-driven environment
• JD preferred
Principal Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would interact closely with key constituents in the Brand Marketing /Corporate Communications/Investor Relations/Government Affairs/Pine Street groups in a wide variety of work which includes (among other things):
• Provide advice on compliance, regulatory, policy and reputational issues as well as on new business initiatives and significant business changes affecting the firm
• Manage the development, testing and implementation of global and local policies, procedures and best practice standards
• Develop and manage department forensic reviews to identify potential risk areas; create, test and implement new controls and surveillances to mitigate these risks
• Create, facilitate and manage the development of firmwide, divisional and targeted department-specific Compliance trainings
• Manage Compliance-led projects and represent Executive Office Compliance on firmwide and cross regional projects and working groups
• Liaise with Executive Office professionals, Technology, Employee Relations, Control Room, Legal and other Federation areas
• Manage and address ad hoc requests and initiatives
Basic Qualifications
• University degree required – JD preferred
• 6+ years compliance or relevant experience in risk management
• Exceptional judgment skills– ability to identify and effectively escalate potential issues
• Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms
