Department Overview
TD Mutual Funds Broker/Dealer Services offers a range of mutual funds and managed portfolios through a national sales and service team of over 100 people. The sales team is responsible for selling TD Mutual Funds through external advisors (Brokers and Planners), contributing to TD MF assets of over $100 Billion.

Job Description
The Regional Vice President (Wholesaler) is responsible for selling and representing TD Mutual Funds to TD Waterhouse, other bank-owned brokerage firms, independent companies and financial planning firms.
Reporting into the Director, Central Canada Region, the Wholesaler is responsible for maximizing sales of TD Mutual Funds to Investment Advisors and Financial Planners in the assigned territory.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the investment, business development and service needs of clients and prospects by maintaining regular contact with them in both business and social interaction.
• Influence advisors to increase their support of TD Mutual Funds products and services by demonstrating an understanding of their business, providing well thought-out product solutions that appropriately meet their needs, and constructive marketing advice.
• Use advisor data to develop annual territory sales plan identifying: frequency of contact, high impact advisor activities, key product opportunities and key corporate messages for each client based on current advisor coverage model.
• Conduct weekly team meetings with Business Development Manager and Sales Coordinator to review progress against business plan.
• Uphold Corporate and Industry sales practices, assess and manage (i.e. monitor commitment) opportunities for co-op marketing from both a business and National Instrument 81-105 perspective taking ownership over the co-op process from start to finish through written communication with Investment Advisors.
Job Requirements
University Degree
CSC/CIM
Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CFP, FCSI)
Industry sales experience required
Existing relationships preferred
Strong presentation skills required
