JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Wealth Management Specialist works with minimal supervision to support Wealth Advisor(s) by providing operation and outreach support. With customer focus in mind, this position will provide superior customer service to Wealth Management clients. The Lead Wealth Management Specialist will be responsible for actively managing the banking relationship for a select group of clients.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Associate’s degree preferred
• 5 - 7 Years’ Experience in Function
• 7 - 10 Years’ Experience in Industry
• Ability to obtain NMLS Required
• Associate's degree in business, finance or related field and/or 5 – 7 years of exceptional service and sales experience with 7+ years in banking.
• High level of expertise working with high net worth clients and business owners.
• Proficient with financial acronyms and servicing of client deposit, loan and wealth relationships, including broad and in-depth knowledge of bank products and services.
• Must have advanced proficiency in data entry and navigating through banking core system(s) as well as CRM software and consumer lending data base.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Advanced listening, written and oral communication skills. Has the ability to identify and recognize opportunities for referrals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Retention and Customer Service
• Actively manage the banking relationship of a select group of clients to ensure an unparalleled client experience.
• Provide high level assistance with client transactions and problem resolution, including deposit, borrowing, and eBanking needs, Treasury Management, Trust and Financial Services and other ancillary banking services.
• Take ownership for resolving client’s banking issues, identifying needs, and thinking "beyond the products".
• Act as a liaison between business partners and Wealth Management clients to ensure transactions are processed with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
Wealth Advisor Support
• Provide support on daily client priorities, client hierarchy, and pipeline management.
• Support Wealth Advisor during the sales process and ongoing client management, coordinating information and communication with clients.
• Coordinate workflow with related departments to deliver timely solutions to Wealth Management clients.
• Assist with calendar management, scheduling internal/external meetings. Manage facilities needs and coordinate conference calls.
Business Development
• Assist Wealth Advisor by assessing client needs and identifying sales opportunities though review of existing client relationships and profiles.
• Collaborate with other business lines to identify opportunities for cross-marketing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with bank partners.
Community Involvement
• Participate in Chemical Cares Day, and other volunteer events in local community.
Other Miscellaneous
• Travel is needed to meet with clients on-site at various locations across assigned region.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
