The Enterprise Digital Membership Experience (EDME) team aims to deliver differentiated digital experiences to become more essential to our customer lives through the web, mobile and push communication channels. The EDME Loyalty & Benefits Web Experiences team is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Management that will lead the product strategy and development of features that will drive incremental engagement with our Benefits and Loyalty experiences. The role’s initial focus includes redefining the vision for MembershipRewards.com and our Co-Brand sites, as well as working with the broader Membership Web and Design teams to uplift our global navigation. This is a critical role with an opportunity to redefine how Cardmembers across markets perceive and interact with our Loyalty and Benefits programs online.
We are looking for a talented, energetic product manager who puts the customer first, demonstrates critical thinking, builds strong relationships and breaks down organizational silos, and is passionate about driving best-in-class digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap that aligns to Amex’s broader strategic objectives
• Lead a scrum team of engineers as the Product Owner and partner closely with User Experience, Design & Research (UXDr) team
• Manage product backlog, drive core outcomes, and make prioritization and scope decisions
• Partner closely with user research and analytics teams to integrate customer feedback into the product delivery lifecycle
• Measure the effectiveness and success of the different product features
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and executing initiatives in a lean/Agile environment
• Experience driving digital innovation and key metrics
• Passion for creating best-in-class products and customer experiences with a customer-first mindset
• Experience scaling digital products and leading complex redesigns or re-platform initiatives
• Highly organized project manager with the ability to drive plans from ideation phase through to execution & measurement
• Proactive collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive decision making and alignment
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to act with a high level of autonomy
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
