Position Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and acquiring security products and equipment for the physical protection of all facilities. Ensures both best value and quality in order to contribute to effective risk management and reduction in losses. Primary focal point for security technology acquisition and approval of consolidated invoicing. Plan and implement branch security designs, working collaboratively with Global Security, IT, Facilities and Operations. Effectively advocates for security technology upgrades and resource prioritization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as focal point for security technologies and security system programs for assigned area.
• Working within our matrix organization, effectively advocate for new technologies to improve risk management and to reduce costs.
• Must have a strong working relationship with the Director District Security Managers as well as Operational and facilities/technology leaders. Strive for standardization where possible to facilitate system integration, particularly in branch protection systems.
• Provide input and contribute to branch design.
• Work with the facilities to ensure security standards are met.
• Assist District Security Managers with integrated security system issues and projects.
• Assist during branch expansion/new construction in gathering all necessary quotes from security provider, reviewing the same and providing Risk Leadership with final recommendation for final sign off.
• Streamlining efforts in the following:
• Alarm Standards coordination
• Building standards coordination
• Central Monitoring of all DVRs coordinated with Central Monitoring Center
• Coordination with IT on network access for alarms, CCTV lock servers and clients
• DVR and Camera standards coordinate with National integrators
• Electronic Lock devices (OTC Lock) Vault program
• Access control National Program/ID card system
• All other duties as directed.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• General knowledge / understanding of alarm systems and applications
• General knowledge / understanding of CCTV systems and applications
• General knowledge / understanding of access control systems and applications (electronic and manual)
• Working knowledge of Private Security organizations & activities
• Be at least 21 years of age
• A current valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4 years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Products
• 2 years’ experience managing others
• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional certification: PSP or CPP

• Interpersonal effectiveness: able to establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships. Willing and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Communication skills: able to communicate effectively, including preparation and development of clear, concise and accurate reports
• Budgeting skills: able to provide budget input and understand basic principles of preparation and adherence to budget
• Strong organizational and time management skills: able to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously
