Position Title Identity Access Management Analyst
Location Headquarters-Troy, MI
Job Summary Responsible for interacting with business units on access control governance processes and technology, including maintaining identity and access data in the identity access management systems. Owns the entire lifecycle of accounts within multiple applications and works with business units to define user roles enterprise-wide. Explains and implements user access governance policies. Participates with the Information Security team in mitigating access governance risk. Works under guidance of more senior analyst, and supports all access review processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Identity Management
• Add, remove, modify and manage user profiles, passwords and account information for network, database and communication security systems used throughout the organization in a timely manner.
• Meet processing and turnaround times established by internal procedures and guidelines or as required by service level agreements while still maintaining a customer service focus.
• Review requests to ensure compliance with all information security standards and policies.
• Follow all information security policies, procedures and guidelines when administering security to ensure the security of information systems.
• Provide one-on-one education and group training sessions in relation to identity access management processes.
• File and maintain documentation for future audits and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
• Trouble-shoot end user technical or access-related issues.
Technology Management and Support
• Provide ownership and direction for assigned technologies or areas of responsibility.
• Maintain security database files, tables and systems used to provide security related services for various platforms and applications.
• Reviews and interprets operational reports to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues generated from systems.
• Configure and integrate new applications into the identity access management system and maintain existing applications.
• Create and maintain procedural documentation for owned applications following Information Security standards.
• Responsible for a specific process within identity access management department and responsible for producing, interpreting, reporting metrics for such process.
Governance functions
• Ensure users have the right access to do their jobs through the creation and maintenance of business roles, account monitoring and management, including managing and resolving orphaned accounts, service accounts and privileged access.
• Support periodic user access reviews, such as high risk entitlement reviews, user access reviews, role reviews.
• Interface with system development teams to assess project implementation impact on application access and the role management process.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Information Security is preferred.
• 2+ years of previous IT experience (preferably in provisioning application access or system administration)
• SQL or Oracle database experience a plus
• Active Directory experience is preferred; including but not limited to, password resets, provisioning group memberships, etc.
• Awareness of optimal access governance processes and practices
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel required, formula experience preferred
• Ability to explain technical information in non-technical way
• Knowledge of residential/commercial mortgage lending, marketing, funding, closing systems and procedures
• Knowledge of personal and business financial systems and procedures
• Report writing skills with proven success in writing concise and effective reports communicating issues and recommending courses of action
• Ability to communicate with the business to identify requirements or issues and plan for best resolution
• Knowledge of Information Security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Knowledge of optimal access governance processes and practices
