ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive and respond to travel related inquires via phone and/or email.
• Assist with changes and cancellations to travel arrangements, as required, documenting details with any additional supporting data.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including: research disputes and respond to questions; direct bill authorizations; traveler profiles; weekly, monthly and yearly files; data entry; and other clerical tasks as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel agency experience required. Prior experience with Sabre preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Organized, detailed orientated and show a propensity towards customer service. Must possess the ability to accurately read and translate numbers, the ability to work effectively and patiently during periods of stress and time constraints, ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and to communicate tactfully and effectively both orally and in writing with persons in various geographic areas and economic levels. A cheerful, helpful and professional attitude and capacity to work in a multi person office where conversations are held simultaneously is required.
