Media Planning Manager (North America)

The Manager, Media Planning, NA is responsible for effective day-to-day execution of media plans in support of all key marketing initiatives. This role will also be responsible for managing the individual planning efforts for each banner, as well as efficient monitoring and management of A&M budgets across paid media, brand marketing activation, and creative/production.
This position will also require deep collaboration with divisional brand marketing teams, additional cross-functional business partners, and the Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing to ensure cohesive, integrated marketing communications are created with speed, and delivered to the right people, at the right time.
Responsibilities
• Support Director, Social Strategy & Media Planning in leading external media agencies, in the conceptualization and execution of cross-channel media plans that deliver growth and efficiency for divisional banners
• Support Director, Brand Content and Creative in development, approval, and trafficking of creative assets, toolkits, and additional pertinent campaign materials
• Collaborate between Integrated Marketing and Marketing Finance on ongoing monitoring operating budgets
• Increase effectiveness and monitor performance with key media partner relationships, including contractual partners (e.g. FL’s NBA partnership)
• Establish standardized measurement and reporting discipline, inclusive of ROI modeling, individualized campaign KPIs/score-carding and core brand metrics.
• Analyze and disseminate media results and reporting, and utilize learnings for future recommendations
• Collaborate with cross functional team in delivering full communications recommendations against top tier marketing programs
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing, Advertising and/or Paid Media
• Core knowledge of all facets of the media mix
• Retail marketing experience, a plus
• Data Analytics experience and/or working with data tools a plus
• Strong Strategic and Critical thinking skills
• Interest in sneakers, and youth (Gen-z) culture preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other collaboration tools
