As a People Partner, you’ll lead HR business initiatives with Senior Executives while partnering with our people at every level to enrich Poshmark’s unique culture of excellence, growth and innovation. You will manage the day-to-day HR operations of your client groups and will be empowered to lead company-wide initiatives to further develop our organization. You are optimistic, empathetic, motivational, and are completely invested in the welfare of all people and do what it takes to ensure success.
Responsibilities
• be a trusted advisor to all employees, leaders and executives providing guidance and support
• effectively apply and enhance our people practices to facilitate growth and influence positive change while preserving Poshmark’s DNA of love, growth and inclusion
• spearhead company initiatives from end to end in collaboration with partners across the organization
• analyze current processes and policies for continuous improvement, scalability and efficiency
• model our core values and act as an ambassador of our culture
• monitor the pulse of your client groups and advocate for proactive initiatives
• manage the employee experience journey together with the People Ops team
• stay on top of the latest HR trends, technologies and legislation to bring the best innovative solutions to our team
• process personnel changes through HRIS data entry, approval workflows and audit
• Other responsibilities as needed
Desired Skills
• 4+ years of HR experience
• BA/BS degree or PHR/SPHR certification
• Strong EQ and empathetic with a high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Excellent understanding of HR programs including performance management, leadership development, and compensation
• Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters
• Demonstrated experience in providing HR consultation to senior leadership on strategic initiatives
Effective communication skills with the ability to influence, motivate and coach
• Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Operates with a good sense of humor and roll with the punches mentality
• Experience with organizational design and compensation strategy a plus
