Overview
The Director – Global Talent Acquisition will lead the overall Talent Acquisition function for Tiffany & Co., including strategy, execution, operations and employment branding and marketing globally. This individual will oversee recruitment across multiple business groups, based on strategic priorities, business needs and workforce plans as well as oversee a team of recruiters to deliver innovative recruiting solutions and hire exceptional talent for Tiffany.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
• Develop talent acquisition strategy for organization
• Align and integrate Talent Acquisition into the full employee talent lifecycle and Global Talent CoE, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a consistent employee and candidate experience
• Provide global thought leadership and strategically identify sources of top talent for hard to fill positions and to meet the short and long-term talent needs of the organization.
• Leverage the Applicant tracking system, digital interviewing and other appropriate technologies for efficient operations and to create a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with HR Operations and Employee Relations Teams to design, develop, and support recruitment related programs including contingent worker process, immigration, and background check process. –
• Work with our Global Mobility Team to develop a strategy and implementation plan for relocation opportunities and framework
• Guide and influence senior management on strategic Talent Acquisition issues across multiple functions/locations.
• Ensure continuity and consistency of candidate acquisition strategy, company culture, and recruiting best-practices.
• Partner with Talent Management Leads on the development of internal talent pipelines and programs to ensure the growth of talent pools that support the needs of the business and integrate plans across the Global Talent CoE
• Develop key initiatives for recruiting diverse talent.
• Guide Director of Recruiting Initiatives and Diversity Outreach to develop outreach platform by partnering with HRBP’s and business leaders on increasing D&I talent pipeline.
Vendor Management
• Serve as the overall relationship manager for external, third party talent acquisition vendors to ensure our current and future investments are optimized.
• In partnership with procurement, regularly review talent acquisition vendor performance and contracts to ensure compliance and positive experience for human resources, candidates and hiring managers.
Employment Branding & Marketing
• Partner with global marketing and Internal Communications to develop, enhance and execute the employment marketing and branding initiatives including social and career site (LinkedIn, Tiffanycareers.com, etc.) and ensure the internal and external candidate experience are aligned.
• Regularly evaluate the perception of Tiffany as an employer and impact of branding strategies and adjust strategies, as appropriate.
• Plan and execute activities to communicate Tiffany’s employment brand
• Develop, execute and measure recruitment marketing strategy to deliver employment brand, attract leading candidates, and effectively develop relationships with potential candidates
Technology, Analytics and Metrics
• Work closely with Human Resources globally on key initiatives for the organization, such as system implementations, hiring policies, processes, etc.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to meet the changing needs of the organization and to remove obstacles throughout the recruitment process.
• Partner with Global Education and Talent Management on the development of training initiatives that support interviewing and hiring best practices, including behavioral interview training.
• Expand on current reporting and metrics to provide data and analytics used for hiring decisions.
• Use data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruiting effectiveness.
Qualifications
• BA/BS or relevant work experience
• Minimum 12 years of Human Resources experience preferably in best in class talent acquisition environment
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing differing groups of individuals
• Experience in building talent acquisition teams and operationalizing talent acquisition organization
• Strong consultative, coaching, communication and influence skills
• Demonstrated expertise & proven success in HR and talent acquisition service delivery
• General business acumen, demonstrated analytical and creative thinking ability
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and HRIS
• Must be organized, detail oriented, demonstrated project management skills, able to work independently and handle multiple priorities/projects simultaneously
• Must understand the talent ecosystem and how Talent Acquisition aligns, integrates, and supports the full employee talent life cycle
