Associate Marketing Clinique Travel Retail Worldwide
Description
Position will assist Skincare Director for Clinique and Lab Series including supporting newness, basic business, in store execution, eventing, and non-saleable support to maximize sales and grow market share. In addition, support Skincare team with ongoing analysis of business, competition and market trends. Effectively partner with global brand marketing, regional sales teams, and all related support groups to ensure alignment before execution.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategy
• Work closely with Director to support 360° strategy to achieve Skincare market share growth.
• Support team to drive basic business and newness while ensuring relevance in travel corridors.
• Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis that result in key commercial insights and initiatives.
Operations
• Work closely with Skincare team and global business planning team and Lachen Distribution Center to ensure new programs are forecasted, received and shipping to plan (non-saleable).
• Responsible for the tracking of shipments of all new and limited life products from plant to Lachen (distribution center) using the seasonal recap and allocation documents (includes: non-saleable items).
• Manage master assortment and SKU activity with Regional Teams and Lachen.
Commercial Development
• Support aspects of new product launch activity including but not limited to forecasts, creative, merchandising, promotional and saleable elements in cooperation with the relevant support teams.
• Support Skincare manager with paperwork including Global Work Requests (GWR), Project Start Forms (PSF) and COG studies for Travel Retailing exclusive programs.
• Creates all Creative requests and tracks them, working closely with brand, to help support regional requests, including in-flight visuals/copy, special events, etc.
• Responsible for the preparation of marketing presentations for sales meetings and retailer presentations including the coordination of all Marketing-related support materials (e.g., product, comps, lab samples, visual concepts, etc.).
Category Management / Business Analysis
• Maintain TR marketing calendar, prepares competitive analysis, liaising with global marketing, marketing services and creative teams to ensure seasonal objectives are met. Also, updates seasonal and on-going product assortments.
• Create, update, and issue Seasonal Calendars to all regions for Skincare and Makeup categories
• Maintain and issue seasonal assortments, making recommendations for product status changes. Responsible for managing sku count and Magic Quadrant analysis
• Prepare performance recap of each new launch activity including promotional programming.
• Support the preparation and analysis of various sales and shipment reports as needed. (Including, seasonal shade rankings). Providing summary reports to senior management and regional teams.
• Works on a variety of special projects as necessary.
Qualifications
• Position requires 3+ year’s of experience in Marketing and/or operational experience
• College/University graduate (MBA Preferred)
• Passion for Skincare
• Strong computer skills required, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and analytical.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess superior communication skills and a high level of enthusiasm.
