Merchandise Coordinator – Fashion to Figure
REPORTS TO:Vice President, Merchandising – Fashion to Figure
POSITION OVERVIEW:The Merchandise Coordinator is the key point of contact on incoming and outgoing samples for a designated group of apparel categories. In this role, the Merchandise Coordinator will work closely with members of the Merchandising, Sourcing, Design, Visual and Marketing teams to ensure that their samples are tracked, received, and distributed and throughout the product life cycle. The Merchandise Coordinator will be accountable for execution of orders by performing responsibilities; order placement, projection tracking, and delivery follow up.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the management of samples including ordering, receiving, organizing, distributing and tracking
• Act as a liaison between vendors and cross-functional partners on the status of samples for each business group
• Order samples through vendors in partnership with the Merchandising and Marketing teams
• Manage internal tracking system for real time status of samples, from order to delivery across departments and through final archiving
• Field and manage requests for samples from business partners; management of check in/check out process according to established guidelines
• Monthly inventory and organization of sample closets, including archiving dated samples and processing samples for in-house sample sale
• Communicating Fashion to Figure standards and issues with Sourcing & vendors domestic
• PO data entry; tracking with domestic vendors for on time delivery.
• Review weekly production and shipping reports to discuss/resolve issues
• Provide sales, production and shipping reports.
• Promo/markdown/markup entry
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to navigate competing requests successfully
• Deep intellectual curiosity and commitment to solving business challenges
• Strong Excel skills
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree
