The Associate Marketing Manager will play a critical role in Banana Republic Factory’s digital marketing initiatives and report to the Head of Marketing. This person will wear multiple hats: 1) drive the strategic development and execution of all Banana Republic Factory social media campaigns, with a focus on Instagram and Facebook, 2) drive our influencer program 3) support Paid Media initiatives 4) assist with ad hoc marketing requests. Your quick ability to take initiative, strong organizational skills, as well as being both creative & analytically minded will be key to the success of this role.
Key Job Responsibilities Include:
• Own content strategy and messaging cadence across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) -from planning stages through launch execution and performance analysis.
• Develop seasonal strategies that acquire new followers, engage current customers and complement overall marketing efforts and objectives.
• Assist with content generation on photoshoots and capture behind-the-scenes imagery & video for social.
• Oversee measurement of all initiatives and conduct program recaps.
• Schedule and monitor content using social media tools.
• Own user generated content program and grow influencer network and track all influencer deliverables.
• Foster dialogue, answering questions or comments and increasing engagement with consumers, advocates and influencers across all brand channels.
• Keep abreast of social media trends, focusing on the fashion industry.
• Paid media - manage briefs and trafficking to agency partners.
• Assist with other seasonal projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• A social media expert who knows the difference between brand usage and individual usage.
• Highly self-motivated, positive team player who takes initiative but remains flexible and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to be resourceful is a must.
• Knowledge of e-commerce and social media marketing.
• Strong creative background is a plus; photography and/or graphic design.
• Quick-witted and social media lingo savvy, you know your emojis.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a team and deliver results.
• Data driven - you know how to find out what’s working and what isn’t.
• Previous experience with social management and publishing tools.
