Merchandise Coordinator
Merchandise Coordinators provide support to Product Line Managers by creating item setups in an internal order management or ERP system (FMS) which will be merchandised on our Fanatics ecommerce website and for wholesale retail. This position works closely with Merchandising, Art, Licensing, Brand Management, and Customer Service Teams to ensure the validity of all items created or inactivated.

Key Responsibilities
• Creates item IDs for the product/merchandise that will be sold to customers via wholesale retail and ecommerce platforms.
• Reviews systems to ensure all elements of item data are accurate; and maintains registry of item number assignment for new items.
• Conducts audits to ensure item descriptions, inventory, sku counts, purchasing and licensing attributes are correct before exporting and then importing item data into systems.
• Sets up, visualizes, and merchandises product for an on-demand retail business using web-based programs.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure products meet all necessary requirements and imaging standards: artwork, product images, product descriptions, pricing, and site exclusions.
• Creates new work order Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensures accuracy, makes updates per change orders (as required), and troubleshoots inventory discrepancies related to inaccurate BOMs.
• Support Product Lifecycle or Line Plan Management, which may include but not limited to: royalties coding, complete set up for customization management, managing system marketing data, and provides reporting for line plan review, publication, and distribution.
• Confirms, for wholesale customers, that the Floor Ready Summary is accurate for distribution; and provides/maintains the Floor Ready Summary worksheets and tracker.
• Provides the factory cross reference documents and postings (UPCs per item ID) for the spec repository.
Minimum Requirements
• Must have a high school diploma
• 1 year of data entry or data analysis experience
• Strong computer skills; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of quality, keep accurate records
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Excellent analytical skills and detailed oriented
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative, identify and prioritize opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible with the ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, team player
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising preferred
• Advanced skill level in MS Excel working with spreadsheets, multiple tables and functions
• Experience with Enovia highly preferred or another PLM application
• Intermediate skill level with Brio Data Management Software
• Experience with ecommerce and retail a plus
• Sports fan a plus
