MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Description
Coty Inc’s Ulta Regional Sales Director is responsible for delivering sales goals within his/her region (*detailed KPIs listed below) by executing marketing calendars, hiring and developing Sales Development Executives, and implementing Education initiatives while efficiently managing fiscal budgets and strengthening regional account penetration and joint business planning.
The Ulta Regional Sales Director also owns critical organizational expectations – leading, developing, and inspiring a diverse team of Sales Development Executives and Part-Time Specialists to deliver perfect execution, every day.
The Regional Directors may also lead incremental special project work
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactive Business Leadership: Continuous strengthening of regional and retailer business understanding, leveraging data analytics to maximize internal and external negotiations, achieving seasonal retail sales goals, brand rank and share targets while improving ROI via FT/PT and/or A&CP efficiencies. Regularly analyze business and communicate key successes, opportunities and future potential risks to NSD.
2. Inspirational Organizational Leadership: Attracting best field talent, partnering with analytics team to develop regional retail sales & event targets and part-time selling budget allocations, while building culture of accountability.

3. Collaboration: Ongoing Partnership with Multi-Functional teams (Sell-In, E-Commerce, Education, and Trade-Marketing), proactive sharing with Channel Partners, representing Ulta needs in annual business planning process.
4. Communication: Monitor and review sales goals with SDEs, Specialists, Store Management and Regional Team. Drive solutions-focused and actionable communication from field to Corporate Teams and to retailers (help needed, promotional recaps, stock needs, market feedback, competitive intel, etc). Communicate inventory issues to ensure that stores have the correct levels and mix of stock to support sales plan.

1. Retail $ / % vs Goal
2. Brand Rank / Regional Market Share (where applicable)
3. PT Budgets deployed on-time and managed within +/- 2% monthly accuracy
1. Compliance to call cycle provided by National Director (Field visits 80% of the time)
2. Ensure adherence to policy for scheduling and paying 3rd party Brand Ambassadors
3. T&E Budget Management within +/- 2% seasonal accuracy
4. Monthly coaching discussions w/ Sales Development Executives
1. Develop measurable action plans and track progress.
2. Ensure adherence of Sales Development Executives & Brand Ambassadors to call cycles & call guides
3. Where relevant: Ensure sufficient flagship focus & staffing management
5. All Door JBPs aligned and executed with retailer
1. Visual Week/Retailer Event/Launch Retail $ vs Goal
2. Event planning & execution
3. Every day In-Store Merchandising
1. Holiday Gift Set % Sell-ThroughStewardship Compliance: Sales plans executed in-line with US Luxury Commercial Strategy, Brand Equity/Fashion House/ Retailer Guidelines..
Applicant Pre-Requisites:
1. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred
2. Basic to Intermediate Computer Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Previous team leader experience with an organization >10 people.
4. Preferred 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience: 2+ years’ experience within Department Store Channel required; 2+ years’ experience as an account executive.
5. Exceptional management, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven knowledge of industry trends and best practices and ability to work across functional areas.
6. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including out of state travel. Required to work from a home office and have the ability to travel between client locations. This position allows for one office day per week.
