The Wholesale District Manager reports to the Region Manager and supports achievement of Levi Strauss & Co. Wholesale account sales targets by leading a district team of Merchandise Coordinators to optimize sales potential and provide preeminent customer service.
POSITION OVERVIEW
• Ensure annual district and door sales unit plans are met as measured by fiscal yearend sales reports for assigned stores and consumer segments.
• Promote and protect our brand value propositions in the marketplace by ensuring the training and educating of account sales and visual staff on LS&CO. strategies and customer experience standards by Merchandise Coordinator team
• Ensure execution of essential pan-brand product programs, shops, launches, marketing promotions and materials are accomplished in covered stores
• Build collaborative relationships with account District partners that influences space and product assortment and supports training programs that deliver ongoing maintenance and effective selling of LS&CO. branded products
• Ensure qualitative and quantitative feedback is shared with corporate sales, marketing, and merchandising partners to influence and inform product and marketplace opportunities
• Increase market share by promoting and protecting our brand strategies
• Develop personal and team capability through our company’s expectations model
• Annual Budget management according to allocated budget
• Essential relationships / Peers: Regional Manager, Merchandise Coordinator team, Merchandise Coordinator Operations team, Levi’s and Dockers Senior Account Executives and Account Associates, Pan brand Senior Account Marketing Managers, and multiple account Store-line personnel including District and Regional Managers and Planners
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Education: BA/BS preferred or related retail or wholesale experience
• Experience: Minimum of three years management experience with retail, wholesale or visual merchandising background preferred, and experiencing managing direct reports
• Excellent managerial, interpersonal skills required
• Proven business and financial knowledge
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, , XP and PowerPoint
