MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The North America Digital Education Sr. Manager role is an Education and Learning Expert role responsible to design and deliver digital education content across a variety of platforms for Stores, Salons and Individuals across the North America Coty Professional Beauty business.
This role is a fast-paced, customer/digital focused delivery role. Being in-touch with professional shopping behaviors and their educational needs, working across regional and global business teams, and passion for the salon industry are key to success. This role will work in partnership with the North America Coty Professional Beauty Digital Team and the Global Professional Beauty Digital and Education team based in Geneva, Switzerland.
The North America Digital Education Sr. Manager has ownership for all North America Digital Education Touchpoints, including the Coty Professional Beauty’s Education Apps, and the North America adaptation of the Learning Management System.
The role is responsible for driving growth behind the KPIs across the learning platforms, and working to customize digital education plans for our top customers across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The role also provides Professional and Consumer content direction for the B2B Store platform, CRM Activities, Pure Play Beauty and Brick and Click Customers across all Brands.
This role requires a deep understanding of the target professional shopper on-line, and the ability to prioritize tactics and plans aligned to the business unit`s overall priorities, and works as part of a multi-functional team organized around the key channel needs of e-commerce, which includes Digital, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Professional Education in both North America and Geneva, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
• Re-design Digital Education strategy to reflect online shopping behaviors across channel.
• Design and Deliver Digital Education across all B2B, Pure Play and Brick and click channels for all Brands.
• Identify opportunities to expand Digital Education to meet the ever-changing needs of salon professionals converting to online shopping.
• Ownership of the North America Digital Education master plan across all Brands.
• Serve as the primary liaison between NA and Global to represent NA Market needs through a Global solution.
• Ensure Education needs for Studio, Curriculum, Field are met with Relationship Tools such as CRM.
• Own local Digital Education innovations that will accelerate our business growth on-line.
• Own local reporting of KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Application Pre-Requisites:
• Cosmetology License; BS/BA Accredited Degree
• Mastery across all Coty Professional Beauty Brands: Wella Professionals, OPI, ghd, Sebastian Professional, Clairol Professional, Kadus Professional, System Professional and Nioxin.
• 4+ years’ experience in customer-facing roles across a variety of professional channels, including store, salon and independent salon professionals
• Affinity with Beauty, Passion for Digital. Prior beauty category experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
Special skills required:
• Open and accessible management style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results and drive collaboration across the team
• Experience in designing Education support for a variety of customers that have evolving needs
• The ability to summarize requirements and translate Education needs for developers, programmers or technical directors who are responsible for building content or platforms
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen to understand, and to translate the company/brand education strategy to customers and enroll them in support of our strategies
• Ability to effectively resolve competing priorities for Brands, team and other functions
• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, complex matrix and changing environment
• Flexibility to travel as required
